When and where is the conference held?

The conference will take place on April 24-26, 2025 in Krakow, at the Jagiellonian University Medical College.

Can I attend the conference online?

Unfortunately, we are not planning online broadcasts this year, so only live participation is possible.

When can I register?

Abstract Submission is open until the 16th of February. The results of the abstract evaluation will be announced on the 24th March and Active Participants will have one week (until the 31st of April) to pay the fee and confirm participation

Registration for the passive participants will be open until the 31st of April.

Do I have to prepare an abstract to attend to the conference?

No! Only active participants prepare abstracts and present papers. However, you can participate in the conference as a passive participant – then you can participate in all points of the conference program, with the difference that you do not have to present any work.

What can passive participants do?

The only difference between passive and active participants is that active present their work and passive not. Both passive and active participants can participate in sessions, lectures, workshops, social programs, clinical and audience competition.

Can I register for more than one presentation?

Yes. You can submit 2 abstracts at all, but you can be an non-presenting co-author of more than that.

What are the guidelines for an oral presentation?

Oral and poster presentations in electronic form and .ppt/.ppx or .pdf format should be sent to the Session Coordinators via email by 3rd of April. Time to deliver an oral presentation should not exceed 7 minutes for original work and systematic review/meta-analysis and 5 minutes for case report. Time of discussion after delivering oral presentations should not exceed 3 minutes.

Will there be a Scientific Competition at the IMSC?

Yes! All submitted abstracts will be considered in the Scientific Competition. Best works will receive in-kind or monetary prizes.

What is the Audience Competition?

During all scientific sessions, some theoretical questions will be displayed in the thematic area of the session. All participants present during the session will be able to participate. A person who will get the most correct answers in the most sessions wins the Competition and receive monetary prizes.

What is the Clinical Competition?

This year the subject of the competition is emergency medicine. Participants will compete in 6-person teams in theoretical and practical tasks. The best teams will receive in-kind or monetary prizes. Registration for the Competition will be available soon.

How much does it cost to attend a conference?

The cost for active participants is 200 PLN /47 € and for passive participants 120 PLN/28 €.

I need a visa – what should I do?

If you need a visa to visit Poland, please fill out the form available on our website: Participation -> Invitation Letters – Visa application. We will send you an invitation in response.

I need an invoice, how do I get it?

Passive participants: If you need an invoice, please fill in the relevant details when registering for the conference.

Active participants: Once your work has been qualified for the conference, you will receive a form that is the final confirmation of your desire to participate in the conference, which will include space for you to fill in your invoice details.

Will there be an additional fee for the gala?

Yes, more information about the Integration Meeting will be available soon.

My work was classified as a poster. Should I print it myself?

It depends on you. You can print it yourself in A1 format and bring it to the conference, or you can leave it to us, for an additional fee. (Once your work has been qualified for the conference, you will receive a form in which you can decide.)
